Choices

Choice is a funny thing, it is a scary thing and it is a wonderful thing.
I just had dinner with 3 very lovely, very important women who are in my life. We spent the night talking about our lives, our stories, our hardships and our victories. Yet it all boils down to our choices.
Kristin chose to "be the bigger man" and have grace toward the people that I would probably not have grace toward. Her comment was "I just don't take it personally." The situation is difficult, the facts are the facts, yet she chooses to see beyond, see Christ and let Him take care of it and she CHOOSES GRACE.
Mandi she chose patience. In the midst of job searching, of disappointment, and a bit of heart brokenness, she choose to stay committed, to stay faithful to what the Lord was telling her. In the end she was rewarded with more than she could have expected. Her patience and perseverance paid off. Her choice to stick it out and follow where the Lord lead her is a great testament to her life.
Jordan chose the "high road" during her earlier years, chose to not do the boy thing and instead focus on the woman she is and learn how to depend on herself and on Christ. Her choice to let go of the "plan" of the "timeline" and to just let God's will take her where HE leads has been an incredible journey. Now she is experiencing a new life, a life of letting people (a person ;) ) in, Of seeing where he life long confidence in Christ is leading her.

CHOICES - now I choose to be a part of these women's lives, to be a witness to their faithfulness, of their choices and seeing where the Lord leads them. These have never been the easy choices, they have been the hard choices, the easy ones would have been to give in to the flesh and fire back. To give up and settle. To turn to boys for comfort when young and lock people out instead of getting vulnerable.
I LOVE THESE WOMEN. I am blessed being able to share with them. Thank you.
